Global History Lessons: Unit Five:

China

From the ancent Chinese empires to Opium Wars. The rise and fall of Mao. This unit will also look at dynastic China in order to provide a context for understanding the changes brought by the Communist Revolution to present-day China. As a part of this unit, students will recieve two packets from the Choices program developed at Brown University. The first packet is the required text readings. The second packet is a workbook for students which will be checked periodically and turned in at the end of the unit.
