Global History Lessons: Unit Four:
Indian Sub-Continent
This unit will provide a look at the structures of societies on the sub-continent from pre-Vedic society to the British Raj before switching the focus to Indian independence from Great Britain, and the partition of Pakistan. For this unit, students will recieve two packets from the Choices program developed at Brown University. The first packet is the required text readings. The second packet is a workbook for students which will be checked periodically and turned in at the end of the unit.
