Europe's Changing Times: An Enlightenment Newsmagazine
Rationale: Today we are working with our groups to create a newsmagazine covering the significant elements of the Enlightenment in Europe. The links below provide a good starting place for your research. Note: These links work from a computer on a school campus without password. For access off campus, please follow the instructions listed below using password provided in class.

- Go to the Churchill Library website located here: http://schools.4j.lane.edu/churchill/library/
- Click on the blue button for Gale Virtual Reference Library located in roughly the center of the page.
- Select the third choice from the next screen, again titled Gale Virtual Reference Library.
- Next, click on the link for Arts and the resulting encyclopedia title that pops up, Arts and Humanites Through the Eras.
- On this next page, select the link to the Electronic Table of Contents.
- From the drop down menu, choose 5. The Age of the Baroque and Enlightenment 1600-1800.
- Now begin reading the Era Overview, Chronology, or browse for your desired topic, person, or event for the of this era.
