Activity Two: This assignment is designed to get you to think and write about the values that Old Growth Forests provide. Using the information from seminar class, your experience on the field trip to McGowan Creek and the optional reading packet (available upon request), write a 3 paragraph essay on the values of this forest type. Be sure to include not only human values such as economic, recreational, and spiritual but the values to other living components of the forest ecosystem.
