Forest Ecology Lesson 2 Activity 1

This activity has 2 parts. Both parts requires some research about forests. Prepare a written response to each part and submit in the form below. It is especially important that you complete part 2 before class next week as you will use that information to present/debate both sides of forest related issues.   Part 1: Go to Biomes of the World. Look at the map and determine where the forests of the world are found. List some of the common features and differences between forests in the major geographical regions.   Part 2: Go to Recent Forest Conservation Documents and find 2 examples of information that illustrates a negative impact on the forest and find 2 examples of information that illustrates positive impacts on the forest.
