Center for Natural Resources

Getting Started

To begin the Seminar class you will need to complete Getting Started Steps 1, 2, 3, & 4.

1. Getting a web-based e-mail account.

It will be necessary to get an e-mail account to participate in this class. We are asking all Rachel Carson students to get a web-based e-mail account (even if you have other e-mail accounts). This account will not cost you anything and it will allow you to access your account from any computer that is hooked up to the internet. To get your account get the 4j email account form from your teacher, take it home and get your parents to sign it and return it to your teacher. A web-based account will be established for you. Once you have an email account you can complete the following steps.

2. Signing up for the listserv.

Please fill out the information requested below and click on the join button. Completing this step will make you a member of the Rachel Carson Center for Natural Resources listserv.
