This lesson serves as an introduction to tree identification. Go to the following website Trees of the Pacific Northwest and check out the method of "keying out" trees used there. Your task is to create a dichotomous key for the tree you adopted and described the week of April 7. Be as creative as possible, make at least 4 steps in your key before the name of the tree is given. I will show you some examples of dichotomous keys in class this week as examples.
