Some websites enable us to tailor links to our own needs.   We also have a few online subscriptions.  Below are some sites that we use regularly in class.  For additional practice, look under second/third grade on our school’s site.

Reading:

Suessville: The name says it all!

Greek Word Match: Learn the meaning of new vocabulary words by discovering the root word meanings.  Also check out other games for learning Homophones and Synonyms.

Writing

Wordle: create your own word art

Comix: make your own comic strip

Acrostic Poetry: be led through making your own acrostic poem

Fractured Fairy Tale: What is a Fractured Fairy Tale?  Learn this and write your own!
