My name is Matt Byers and I have been teaching at Roosevelt since the fall of ’95.  I have seen many changes since then, but the unique learning environment at Roosevelt and the dedication of the capable staff remain the same!  I have taught many students in numerous classes involving science, math, art, & P.E.  I look forward to meeting the new students that choose to take one of my courses.  Some of my hobbies include:  spending time with my family, riding dirtbikes, snowboarding(since’89), sailing, renovating old houses, scuba diving, old Porsches & Land Rovers, bicycles, renewable energy resources, golf, yardwork, and time with friends!
