Hideout Tag

Setup and Equipment:

• One mat standing in front of each wall to be used as a hideout
• Four players designated as "its"
• Use yarn balls for tagging

Rules:

• The four players that are "it "go to the center circle to start the game
• All other players stand behind a hideout mat to start
• When a player is behind a mat they are safe and may not be tagged out
• If a player is tagged while running to a new hideout, they must go to the center circle in the gym (Ring of Fire)
• To get out of the Ring of Fire, a player that is not "it" will take them by the hand to a hideout
• As soon a both players are behind the mat (hideout) they may continue the game
• Play for one -two minutes, then pick new "its"
