Chicken Dance Tag

Setup and Equipment:

• Four yarn balls for taggers
• Two rubber chickens for defrosters
• Play Chicken Dance Music while the students are playing

Rules :

• Four people are given yarn balls and become the farmer taggers.
• Two people are given rubber chicken and are the "chicken dedancers"
• If tagged by a farmer, the student must stop and do the chicken dance with the music
• When someone who is dancing catches a rubber chicken, they become the "chicken dedancer". So the chicken will be passed around from one dancer to another.
• The rest of the students are running chickens
• The boundary lines represent the chicken coop.
• The yarn balls represent farmers who are trying to round up their chickens by tagging other students softly with the yarn ball.
• Yarn balls must stay in the hands of the taggers.
• The "chicken dancer: may stop dancing when they catch a rubber chicken tossed by the "chicken dedancer"
• The person that was set free is now the new "chicken dedancer"
• Or another teammate may free them by doing the chicken dance with them "mirror style".
