Stations for Hockey: Each wall has one on these stations on it. Students will rotate through all of them.
Stick Handling with No-Bounce Balls: Dribble by weaving around and through a series of cones in a line, then take a shot at the target pin, located at the end of the line, in front of the wall. If the pin is knocked over, the person that knocked it over should put it up for the next person on the team. If the shot is missed, simply dribble back to the beginning of the line and try again.
Stick Handling with Large Foam Balls (6" - 8" balls). Dribble by weaving around and through a series of cones in a line, then take a shot at the target pin, located at the end of the line, in front of the wall. If the pin is knocked over, the person that knocked it over should put it up for the next person on the team. If the shot is missed, simply dribble back to the beginning of the line and try again.
Stick Handling with Hockey Pucks: Dribble by weaving around and through a series of cones in a line, then take a shot at the target pin, located at the end of the line, in front of the wall. If the pin is knocked over, the person that knocked it over should put it up for the next person on the team. If the shot is missed, simply dribble back to the beginning of the line and try again.
Hit the Target with a Hockey Puck: A goal is set up at one end of the gym (soccer goal will work, or simply use two cones). Team members take turns dribbling the puck down to the opposite end and taking a shot anywhere past the center line. Goalies optional (only if requested).
