Two Proposed Thesis Statements
Assignment Description

For this assignment, you'll craft two possible thesis statements for your Great Minds essay and email those statements to your projects teacher. The “subject” line of the email must read “thesis statements.” Remember to sign your email with both your first and last names.

Questions to consider when formulating a thesis for this paper are: What is the major contribution this Great Mind made to his/her world? What were the primary influences that led him/her to make this contribution? Your thesis statement can be your attempt to answer one, or perhaps both, of those questions.

Remember that a thesis statement is just that – a statement , in one or two sentences, rather than a question. This statement will come at the end of your introduction.
