Activity Three: In this activity you will explore the ecosystem around your home and neighborhood. Your task is to compare and contrast this ecosystem with one of those from activity one. Your exploration will occur in the real environment outside of your home, school, and neighborhood. The product of this activity will be a written report submitted to the instructor using the form below. You are to make a detailed comparison of the two ecosystem types. Be sure to include both the abiotic and the biotic factors in your comparison. Compare the temperatures, climates, amount of rainfall. What are the differences between the types of living things you might expect to see in the two ecosystems? How about population sizes?
