Their ideas: Teach students how to handle transitions
Teach students how rules relate to diff. types of classroom activities
Conduct lessons on study strategies
Teach & review grading procedures

Monitoring Procedures:
1. Frequent scanning & use of proximity
2. Weekly gradebook update on web; missing assn printout for students
3. Daily record of Ace Driver status
4. Individual point systemfor the week (???)

Encouragement Procedures:
Class: Verbal feedback, group activities (game time or Extra Recess / Choice Time
Cooperative groups trained to encourage each other

Individual: Verbal feedback, frequent non-contingent attn, written feedback (notes home), parent calls, lottery tickets, Paws, free HW pass, Call “Top Guns” - highest scorers on tests, Indvidualized contracts
