Greetings Parents!

  • Join us for the Gilham Carnival this Friday, May 2 for a Hawaiian Luau! Our class is hosting the Photobooth. We are responsible for raffling a theme basket on Science and Mystery. We are sorely lacking items for this basket. Items might include any Science kits, experiments, magic stuff, OMSI gift certificates, Science videos, Science posters (star maps, plant growth cycles.... ) Learning Palace, in the Santa Clara Square on River Rd & Division, is a great source for Science items! Send any items with your child to school for our basket just inside the door on the right. Cheryl Burke & Kristen Forrest will collect items each day.
  • Finishing Up Everyday Hero Letters! Students have been writing letters to the everyday hero they interviewed. We will be finishing up the letters this week. Students are encouraged to include a picture of their everyday hero in the letter, but it is optional. Feel free to email a picture to Mrs. Siporin or Ms. Kelsay (kkelsay@uoregon.edu) or send a picture to school and we can scan it in. The letters are looking great!
