Greetings Parents!
- Portland Zoo Field Trip this Thursday. It is critical
that everybody arrive to school on time because the buses will be
leaving as close to 8:00 a.m. as possible. Also, plan on picking
your child up about 4:45; you can call the school after 4:30 & they
should know where we are & our ETA (estimated time of arrival). Generally,
we've been back about 4:45 or as late as 5:00. Unless we hear otherwise,
we'll assume everybody is packing their own lunch. We'll ask students
if they need school to pack them a lunch. $$ for the gift shop is
optional. Remind your child how important it is to follow all directions
from their chaperone and to stay with their group.
- Earth Day is Tuesday. We'll be talking about how we can make a
difference; hopefully you can have a discussion in your family about
what your family is doing or what more your family could be doing
to help make the earth a cleaner safer place for people, animals
and plants.
