Greetings Parents!
- Next week is Spring Vacation! I hope you all enjoy a much deserved
break!
- Papa's Pizza - Please come out in true Gilham support for the Jensen
Family who lost their 35 year old father and husband recently. Wednesday,
March 19, bring the flier to Papa's on Coburg and Pap's donates 50%
to the Jensen Family. (I would imagine this sheet could suffice if
you don't have the flier; there'll be extras in the office too.)
- Endangered Animal Report. Students should have a complete rough
draft by this Friday. We will be revising, editing, and typing their
drafts this week in class. We have the C.O.W. on Monday and Tuesday.
- Thursday at 12:45 - 1:50 is Activity Day at Gilham. Every staff
member is offering a one hour multi-grade class for Gilham students.
Everybody signed up for their top 3 choices. We have placed students
into the classes. With only a few exceptions, everybody got one of
their top 3 choices. We'll tell them on Wednesday which class they'll
be going to on Thursday.
- Flashlights were a huge success! I took pictures and will post
them to our class photo page. They were so inventive and cooperative.
Sadly, we had to return all the materials. If they're so inclined,
they can make a new one at home using parts from any Radio Shack.
