Musical for 2014 Announced:  “The Music Man!”

Directing musicals is a passion of mine.  After closing night, people often say

to me, “Aren’t you glad it’s over?”  No, I never am.  I really like the process

of starting a major project like this from the ground up.  Every year I am

always amazed at the large amount of talent that our McCornack students

possess.  I am also very appreciative of the creative and dedicated crew of

current and former McCornack parents, staff and other community

volunteers that assist with our productions.

It is common to hear kids talk excitedly about meeting their fears, learning

how to do new things, singing in front of their peers and parents for the first

time, performing in front of an audience, etc.   Rehearsals can be long, but the process is such fun and the end result is always so exciting when you know you have accomplished something really memorable and worthwhile. 

Our shows are performed for three evenings toward the middle of May.  They are free of charge and open to the public.  We hope to see you there!
