This is a story about a girl that doesn't know how to dance, so she marches, hops and twirls.

• There is a girl from France... walk - 16 counts

• Oh, knees up... march with knees up - 16 counts

• Hopping on one foot - 16 counts

• Hopping on the other - 16 counts

• Whirling... turn around and around

Toaster Catch	Catching and Throwing	45	Skill Practice

Partners

• One foam ball for each pair of students.

• One partner is the toast catcher and one person is the toaster.

• Partners are postioned about six steps from each other.

• The toast catcher lies face down on the floor.

• Toasters hold the toast (ball) in their hands and toss the ball straight up in the air.

• Toast catchers stand up immediately (pop up!) and catch the ball after one bounce.

• Switch after each attempt.

• Challenge: Can you catch it without letting the ball bounce?
