I was born and raised in Eugene.  I graduated from South Eugene High School.  I left Eugene for sunny Southern California and earned my biology degree from Occidental College.  I joined the Peace Corps and served in Tonga for 3 years.  Upon my return to the States, I earned a masters degree in Kansas.  After moving back to Eugene, I was hired to teach at SEHS.  And I have been here ever since.
