 Andy Brouwer's Cambodia Tales

This is the tale of his trips to "Cambo" in 1998, 1999, and 2000, including the capital Phnom Penh, Siem Reap (the home of the magnificent Angkor temple complex), Preah Khan, Kompong Svay, Preah Vihear, Beng Mealea, Phnom Kulen, Kompong Thom & Sambor Prei Kuk, Battambang and Kompong Cham. The Center for Asian and Pacific Studies

The Center for Asian and Pacific Studies brings together the University of Oregon's diverse programs and expertise related to the study of Asia and the Pacific. From Sideshow To Genocide: Stories of the Cambodian Holocaust, by Andy Carvin, New Media Program Officer at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting in Washington DC

Mekong.com is the Official Website for travel in the Greater Mekong Subregion, produced by ETC Asia on behalf of the Tourism Working Group of the Greater Mekong Subregion Economic Cooperation Programme.  The project is produced on the basis of Public / Private Sector Partnership and coordinated between ETC Asia and The Agency for Coordinating Mekong Tourism Activities, based at the headquarters of the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Bangkok.  The stakeholders include the Ministries and Tourism Authorities of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and Yunnan Province of China as well as the United Nations (ESCAP and UN Environment Programme), Asian Development Bank, World Tourism Organisation and the Pacific Asia Travel Association.

Oregon International Council

Oregon International Council, located at Willamette University in Salem, OR, provides assistance to foreign language and social science teaching through workshops, dissemination of information , and support of "targets of opportunity."

The Oregon International Council Curricular Library lists teaching and background materials on international education and various national and regional cultures. These items are available for loan to OIC members including all personnel of member organizations.
