The study tour grant was written by Dr. Gerry Fry, a professor at the Center for Asian and Pacific Studies at the University of Oregon. In addition to Gerry, the tour included other UO staff members from various departments: History, Political Science, Public Policy and Management, Business, Theater, and International Studies. The group also included an undergraduate and a graduate student at UO. The remaining members of the study group were educators from the Eugene area, from elementary through middle and high school levels.
