I am very excited that you are visiting our website!  There are many helpful links here, as well as, fun photos and valuable information.  In room 10 your child will have their first experience in a school setting.  We have fun and at the same time learn skills to be successful in the academic atmosphere.  We work hard to build a caring community in our classroom.

MY PHILOSOPHY

School should be alive with authentic learning experiences that encourage self-motivation and a positive attitude about knowledge and growth.  Authentic learning occurs when the student feels comfortable enough to explore learning on their own.   Teaching needs to be done within a safe and caring environment, in which all children will feel free to learn and become self-confident in themselves and their work.  This environment is one in which the teacher is supportive and understanding and creates a safe place for the student to foster self-discovery and learning.
