Welcome to Room 16’s second grade site!  I am so glad that you are visiting.  At this time, the site will be used to post our class schedule,  spelling and sight words, and links to educational sites.  In the near future, as I mentioned at conferences, I sincerely hope to use the site for homework.  Until that time, I will send homework home with your child.

9:55-10:10  Recess

10:10-10:40 Every Monday and Wednesday / PE.  Music every other Thursday.  During the music week, we also have PE on Friday.

10:40-11:10  Literature 

10:40-11:05 Library on Thursday

11:10-11:30 Lunch

11:30-11:50 Recess

11:50-12:45 Writer’s Workshop

12:45-1:15 Science, Social Studies, Author / Artist study, Second Steps, Health, and Read Aloud 

1:00-1:30 Computer Lab on Friday
