Have you ever wondered what makes color? Or sound? Or electricity? In this physical science class, students will learn how everyday objects work as well as natural phenomena, such as light, sound and magnetism. Topics such as density, atomic structure, waves and electromagnetism will be covered. There will be opportunities for students to ask questions and investigate personal interests as well. In this course, we will explore these three components of physical science (as taken from Oregon State Standards) by learning how various technologies work and natural phenomena occur.
